Southern California Bach Festival Cancelled
To Our Musica Angelica Community –
In light of the recent COVID-19-related announcement by the Governor of California to ban all gatherings over 250 people and President Trump’s travel ban from Europe, Musica Angelica must cancel its upcoming Bach Festival including both performances of St. Matthew Passion scheduled on March 27, 28, and 29.
We believe that the health and well-being of everyone in our community are of the utmost importance and are following all local and federal guidelines.
With so much uncertainty ahead, we will not be rescheduling St. Matthew Passion in 2020. We as a performing arts organization face many challenges in the days and months ahead and we know that you do as well. For those who have purchased tickets to our Bach Festival, we ask that you consider making your ticket purchase a donation. However, we will refund any tickets that were purchased if requested.
To everyone, we wish you good health and safety.
